Elnora R Knowles

Elnora Ruth (Loesch) Knowles Born: December 29, 1934 in Attica, KS, to parents Ludwig A. Loesch and Johannah Heckel Loesch, both deceased. Married Dell Gene Knowles February 21, 1954, and moved with him to Fort Knox, KY, where he served in the U.S.Army. After the birth of their first of three sons, Dell left the service to pursue a degree in pharmacy from Southwestern University in Weatherford, OK. After graduation, the family moved to Oklahoma City, and then to Duncanville in 1965 where Dell opened the Key Rexall Drug Store on Camp Wisdom Rd. Besides wife and mother, Elnora also earned an associate’s degree in interior design from El Centro Community College. She worked many years at Gabbert’s Furniture in Dallas until retiring 10 years ago. She was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church for over 20 years. Elnora is survived by her three sons: Clifford L. Knowles of Austin and wife Margaret; Dana Tim Knowles of Claremore, OK and wife Karen; and Todd Eugene Knowles of Flower Mound, TX and wife Lynn; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Junior John Loesch and wife Roseanne of Pineland, FL. Elnora was preceded in death by her beloved husband Dell; her parents; her brothers Harold E. Loesch, Carl A. Loesch and Curtis Loesch, and her sisters Georgia Loesch Woodworth Brewer and Kathryn Loesch Dimler.
