Mr. Ernest W Wilson

Ernest W. Wilson, 61, a native of Duncanville, TX passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 29 at his home. He was the owner of Enchanted Memories on the Hill Wedding Chapel. a member of the John C. Pelt Masonic Lodge, and a longtime Certified Public Accountant, classic car enthusiast, and advocate for animal rescue. The only son of Norma and Earl Wilson, Ernest was born on April 17, 1953 in Duncanville, TX where he resided his entire life. He married Karen Douglass on July 22, 1977 in Duncanville, TX. His father and first wife preceded him in death. He married JoDee M. Smith on July 12, 2003 in Duncanville, TX. He is also survived by his mother, Norma N. Wilson, son, Sean Mikel Wilson (Angela), Daughter, Shasta Freeman (Tim), and Son, Andy Smith (Teal); 5 grandchildren, Christopher Wilson, Morgan Smith, Madison Smith, Kristen Rock, and Tyler Rock, 2 sisters, Diana Brackenridge (Jim) and Vicki Davis (Larry), and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday July 31, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with Funeral Services at 1:00 pm Friday August 1, 2014 at David Clayton Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Operation Kindness Animal Shelter Carrollton, TX.
