I will miss those great big bear hugs along with his goofy sense of humor and great smile. It's wonderful to see how many lives he truly touched. Not only was I blessed to work with him but most importantly become very good friends. So good, in fact, he'd attend my twins' school functions "just because he wanted to"!  His love of family and friends was out of this world! I will miss him dearly but am comforted in knowing we will meet again soon. May God bless his family and comfort them in their time of sorrow and need.

My condolences go out to your family.  George always walked into my business with a huge smile on his face  which was highly contagious, you couldn't help but smile back and give him a huge bear hug.  He will be missed dearly here at Lonestar Grill.

My deepest sympathy to George's family.  I am so sad to hear of his passing. The VA employees in Temple, Texas will miss him so much.  George helped us so much with our videoconferences.  We could always depend on him and we were so happy when he returned to the VA in Dallas last year.  I will pray for the repose of his soul and for his family.

Words may never express how sadden I am to hear this news; he was such an awesome person.  He was always there to assist me when things were not going well with the VTC.  He always had an infectious smile no matter what. I am stunned and incredibly saddened by George's untimely passing. He was a kind and gentle man, always looking on the bright side and going the extra mile to help everyone out. George had a wonderful heart, spirit and soul. He was so professional and just great at what he did here at the VA. I loved talking to him for he was just purely a beautiful person. I understand that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. But God knows he will be missed on this earth. Wow I am at a loss to find out I haven't seen my classmate since we graduated.  Now to hear the news of him passing, I am praying for the  family.

It was an honor to work with George. I only knew him for a short time (mostly over the phone & emails). He always made time to teach me something "tech." He will be dearly missed. I pray that God give his family strength & understanding during these times.

I am so sadened to hear of this tragedy. I worked with George just 3 times directly and it only took once to realize the outstanding quallity of employee he was.
