

Mike Sanches Born August 12, 1952 in Dallas, Texas and passed away January 26, 2017 in Irving, Texas at the age of 64. Preceded in death by his mother Robbie Sanches and several other family members. Mike is survived by his father Elias Sanches who served in World War II, brother Danny Sanches and sister Judy Hosford, and many nieces and nephews, Barry Alan Hosford, Jason Hosford, Micah Hosford, Lisa Hosford-Michta, Erikk Hosford, Lori Hosford, Lani Hosford, Shawn Sanches, Justin Sanches, and Amanda Sanches-Warren and many other family members and friends. Mike was raised in Oak Cliff, and graduated from David W. Carter High School in 1970. As a teenager he began working in construction with family members which led to a lifelong career as a builder and contractor. He had a passion and great talent for singing, playing the guitar and country dancing. He was also an avid sports fan and left an impression on everyone he met with his larger than life personality. He loved to make people laugh and smile and had an unusual ability to create and maintain friendships from childhood to this very day. Mike doted over his many nieces and nephews as if they were his own. Mike cherished and loved to be around family and he loved his pets as though they were family and his dog Kolba recently died while saving Mikes life from a fire that destroyed his home. Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday January 30, 2017 at David Clayton Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 11 AM Tuesday January 31, 2017 in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Little Bethel Memorial Park in The Garden of Rest.
