Robert Louis Bryant

Robert Louis Bryant, Sr. was born on December 31, 1938 in Freestone County/Winkler, Texas, to the late Alvin and Ora B. Bryant. Robert was the 2nd of their 8 children. His parents lovingly raised him in the Christian faith. Although he strayed from this faith as an adult, he recently confessed and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. In the late 1950’s, Robert graduated from high school in Freestone County/Wortham, Texas. He then moved to Dallas, Texas where he met and married the late Johnnie Faye Lockett. To this union 3 sons and 1 daughter were born. In the early 1970’s, Robert met and married Martha Garcia. To this union 1 son and 1 daughter were born. Robert retired from Otis Engineering/Halliburton after 30 years of employment as a machinist. His hobbies were league bowling, rebuilding classic cars, and socializing with family and friends. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his devoted wife of 45 years, Martha Bryant. His 6 children: Robert L. Bryant, Jr., Regina McKenzie and spouse Cedric, Mark Bryant and spouse LaJuan, Ritchie Bryant, Albert L. Bryant and spouse Abby, and Yesenia Renee Bryant. Also, his 5 sisters, 3 brothers, 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a multitude of other family and friends.
