After passing the 100 year marker a living legend with a phenomenal memory is no longer with us.To me he was a great boss, a mentor and a friend. Together we enjoyed the last of many Tim Horton lunches just a few short weeks ago. He usually had an appropriate proverb to fit life's situations. Thinking about Frank Cooke makes me smile.  Many memories of events in the Officers Mess with the old 8th Field gang.  His sense of humour and the twinkle in his eye are special memories.   Those memories also include conversations with his wife Dorothy about things that women talk about!  May you all be blessed with wonderful memories of a unique man.  My sincerest condolences.

My condolences to the Cooke family. I will always remember Mr. Cooke fondly. His stories of the wonderful and amazing life he'd led were something I looked forward to each week. My father worked for the HSR and has the utmost respect for Mr. Cooke. He was truly an inspiration.

I met Frank many years ago when I went to school with Frank Jr. and Richard. I later started to work for H.S.R. He always had a smile and a Good Morning Ruby. I will miss seeing him at the H.S.R. re unions. My deepest sympathy to the family.

To all the Cooke family....such a legacy Uncle Frank leaves...a formidable presence that can never be replaced but the memories we have will be kept near and dear in our hearts forever.  Uncle Frank you will be missed forever and always! ❤

My condolences Cath and Kevin; what a man. One of my many favorite patients that i will miss dearly.  Frank's zest for life,  his enlightening story telling,  infectious grin and kibitzing will be greatly missed. I am so blessed to have had the privilege of knowing Frank and sharing chiropractic care with him for so many years.  He will always hold a special place in my heart.

Our sympathy to all of the Cooke family at this sad time. A very fond memory of Uncle Frank was at our annual Christmas open house on Parkside. Uncle Frank would come every year and we would stand in the dining room as he would share lots of jokes and funny stories. He was a very popular member of the family as he was always smiling and had a laugh we will always remember. His presence will be missed but all the great memories will live on forever.

Mr. Cooke will be remembered with love. it was such a joy to have him visit us in the office and regale us with stories from his lifetime.  I loved hearing his thoughts on the ticat games as well!  My condolences to the family.

I had the pleasure of knowing this wonderful man as my neighbour. We had many great conversations. He was so humble. When I first met him and realized he was a former employee of the HSR where I worked, I asked him what his job was. His answer: "Oh just a pencil pusher". He will be missed.

My condolences to Terry and all his family on the passing of a very wonderful, feisty, heartwarming man. I had the priviledge of working with him thru my job at the Chamber for many years on our Transportation Committee. I felt honoured that he felt comfortable enough with me to sit in my office and encourage me with his views on todays transportation issues...always with a joke, a story, a smile and a twinkle in his eye. I will miss you Frank.

We are all diminished by your death but enriched by your life. Uncle Frank we share so many wonderful memories of special times with you. Your most enduring legacy is the loving family you encouraged and supported. You will be in our hearts forever.
