Kevin Joseph Forrester

Forrester, Kevin Edward Joseph…. Peacefully and with dignity, on September 22, 2017, at the age of 68, with his family around him, Kevin went home to be with God. Predeceased by his parents, Lawrence and Mary-Ellen Forrester, he is survived by his siblings Patricia, Johanna (Bob), and Larry (Lisa), many nieces and nephews, and his large extended L’Arche family.

Kevin was a gentle and kind man, who was at peace with himself always and who taught many how to live by example. He loved to travel, visit family, participate in the Special Olympics, and always had an amazing ability to go with the flow and a ready smile.

Visitation will take place on Monday September 25th from 6:30 to 9:00 PM at Marlatt Funeral Home at 615 Main Street East, Hamilton, Ontario. Also, on this date and location, a celebration of Kevin’s life will take place at 7:15 PM followed by prayer. A funeral mass will take place at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Parish, 200 Herkimer Street Hamilton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to L’Arche Hamilton 664 Main St E, Hamilton, ON L8M 1K2, or to Emmanuel House Hospice, 90 Stinson Street, Hamilton, Ontario L8N 1S2, or to a charity of your choice.
