Dear Family,

My deepest sympathies go out to you!  Some memories of Loretta will always stay in my mind - eating candy bars with me on the beaches of Lake Erie - going to a movie in Pittsburgh for our April birthdays - talking at the Scott High football games - getting pierogi at the Russian church - Loretta visiting her grandmother down the street from me in her little green car.  Just like these memories, Loretta will stay always in our hearts.

Denise,  I am so upset that I missed your mom's funeral.  I was unaware of her passing until Allie saw a posting on Facebook this morning.  I will always remember grandma Loretta.

Loretta's husband Tom was my next door neighbor during our high school years and Tom was my best man when I married Nancy. Nancy and I have had a very long pleasant friehdship with Tom and Loretta full of great memories.I know that Loretta had the loving care of her family and I am confident that she is a believer in our Lord Jesus Christ and is now absent from the body and face to face with the Lord.--Gary Jones

Loretta was very much like a mother to me and when our first son was born, “Gramma ‘Retta” became a Grandmother to him. Truly. She was incredibly thoughtful, loving and caring to our family. We will miss her, beyond compare, and will deeply cherish every single memory. The Clearwater Boston's

Aunt Letty, as I knew her as a child, was an exceptional example of courage and love to all of us. I watched as she endured the tragic loss of her husband Scrip, a time when she would normally have been in great anticipation of the birth of their son, Roy. She persevered and was blessed with a new life with Uncle Tom and the addition of a lovely daughter, Denise. Her love and devotion to her family was unquestionable. She gave so much of herself, always putting others first. Rest in peace, Aunt Loretta.

Roy and Denise, your mom was more to me than a sister...she was my friend. Anytime I needed her, even if it was just to talk, she was there. I love her and I will miss her very very much. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Roy and Denise,

Your mother remains a part of my earliest memories of what family means.  I feel the friendships of our parents gave us a cool extended family in a sense.  Looking back I think it left a real impression on me as very young child, and set me up to value and build long-lasting relationships of my own.  It's cool to think how love gets passed on in such subtle ways!  May the warmest of memories remain for you as you keep her close in your hearts.  With love,

I met Loretta the day we moved across the street in 2001.  She made me feel totally at ease right away.  She was always ready with a smile or a plate of cookies.  She touched every person she met in a sweet way.

Roy, Mary, Ethan, Denise, Dane, Kyle, Kasey and Chad:

Please accept my condolences on the loss of your Mom and Grandma.  I knew Loretta as a good friend and client for 20 years.  We spoke often and had some good laughs.  And I want you to know that not a single conversation went by without a special story of a graduation, wedding, hockey, soccer, mall trip for a prom dress, dog story, grandbaby, birthday, holiday.......... and even some not so special stories.  The point is she loved each and every one of you so very much and was so proud of you. I will miss her with you and am sorry for your pain.
