Roger Charles Thornton

Roger is survived by Ruby, his loving wife for 46 years, his two children, Gina V. Lam, V. Tyrone Lam and his wife Kristin, his granddaughter, Elizabeth Lam and his sister Jacqueline Crawley. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, William (Bill) and Myrtle Thornton, his brother William (Bill) Thornton of Winter Haven, Florida and his sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Smith of Clearwater, Florida.

Roger was born January 4, 1928 in Peoria, Illinois. He moved to Clearwater Florida in 1992, from Alexandria, Virginia, where he sold Industrial Commercial Real Estate most of his career. He was an active boater, loved helping others and had a laugh that would fill any room..

Services will be held at the Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 1320 Main Street in Dunedin at 3 pm on Friday, December 3rd.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Breast Cancer of Pinellas County and The Alzheimer Association.
