Chesley Anne Bowden

Chesley was born November 14, 1990 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina to Daniel Bowden Sr and the late Sylvia Elaine Vann-Bowden.

Chesley was a kind hearted, loving, outgoing, amazing, and very loved person. She loved her family more than anything. She did not have any kids of her own and, sadly could not, but her niece and nephew filled her heart beyond!

She is now resting with her significant other Curtis who also was in the accident, her mama Sylvia Elaine Vann-Bowden who passed 2 weeks ago, grandpa Charles, grandpa Tootie, Uncle Charles, Uncle Kenny, and Uncle Donald. She was taken way too soon and so suddenly and left her loved ones broken hearted and full of sadness. She will forever be missed but loved dearly.

Left to cherish her memory is her father Daniel Bowden of Dunn; her grandmother Evelyn “Marie” Chance of Dunn; her brother Daniel James Bowden Jr and wife, Britanny; and her niece and nephew, Carson and Raelynn.

In Lieu of Flowers, the family is kindly asking for donations on Chesley's funeral arrangements.

A visitation for family and friends for Chesley will be held Friday, June 28, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Cromartie-Miller, 401 W Cumberland St, Dunn, North Carolina 28334, followed by a celebration of life service at 3:00 PM.

The family has planned a lunch after the service at 238 Vann Lane, Dunn, NC 28334. If you would like to come drop in and bring a covered dish/dessert please contact Britanny and Daniel Jr.
