Danny Wayne Webb

Danny was born on January 16, 1954 in Harnett County the son of the late Garrett Webb and Pauline Hall Webb, and is preceded in death by his wife, Dory Norris Webb.

Danny went to Dunn High School and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was an avid Duke fan. He was a very talented musician; was an excellent keyboard player & songwriter. He played in several groups through the years such as HoBo Junction and The Novas. He played and sang in several churches in the surrounding community.

He wrote many songs and put them to music, he even composed a song that he and his brothers and sister sang at their parent’s 50th Anniversary.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James David Tart officiating. Burial will follow in Youngs Cemetery, Hwy 242 East, Benson, NC.

Surviving includes: 2 Sons: Nick Webb & Katrina of West Virginia; Chris Webb & (wife) Lori of Raleigh, NC

A Daughter: Cami Varney & (husband) Rob of TN.

Grandchildren: Ford & Addison

A Sister: Carole W. Strickland of Wilmington, NC

Brothers: Gary Webb & (wife) Virginia of Dunn, NC and Billy Ray McLamb & (wife) Margaret of Dunn, NC

The family will receive friends Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018 from 1:00pm-2:00pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home in Dunn. One hour prior to the service.
