Elizabeth Ann “Lib” Morrison, age 77, of Erwin died Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at her home.
Lib was born on November 27, 1943 in Harnett County the daughter of the late
William Jefferson Faircloth and Annie Geneva Fisher Faircloth and is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Phillip Morrison. She is also preceded death by sisters, Bertha F. Barbour and Geretha F. Wrench; brothers, Clarence and Leon Faircloth.

Lib retired from Erwin Post Office where she was a rural mail carrier.
Lib loved to travel, her famous saying to her family was, “We are off like a herd of turtles.” She was devoted to her family, and was the best mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Family came first, she had spent all her life in Harnett County because she always wanted to stay close to her family.
She never saw a stranger, she loved striking up a conversation with perfect strangers and talking to them about life. She enjoyed going to Walmart and talking to people. She loved going to yard sales and loved a bargains. She started at the beginning of the year buying for people for Christmas and would say “I saw Santa Claus today” meaning she had picked up something for you that she thought you would like and most of the time you would love what you got. She was a giving person to everyone. She made a big impact on everyone she met.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 2:30 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roy Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Erwin Memorial Park.
She is survived by: Son: Donald Phillip “Phil” Morrison, II and (wife) Jennifer of Erwin, NC.
Daughter: Lisa Morrison Cox & (husband) Alan of Erwin, NC.
Grandchildren: Lauren Morrison and Nathan Morrison
Great Grandchild: Creed Morrison
Brothers: Herman Faircloth & (wife) Sylvia of Eastover, NC and Thurman Faircloth & (wife) Linda of Dunn, NC.
Niece: Pat Long & (husband) Larry of Kure Beach, NC. and several other nieces and nephews.
The family will be receiving friends Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home. Prior to the funeral.
