

Mr. George Robert Nalveaiko, age 59 of Lillington died Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital in Dunn. Mr. Nalveaiko was born in Glen Cove, N.Y. on June 30, 1956 the son of the late Nancy Gross Nalveaiko. George enjoyed life and had many hobbies, He loved to go Swimming, Camping and played Board Games. He enjoyed Nascar, his favorite driver was David Pearson. He also loved animals especially his pet dogs through the years. He enjoyed being a member of and participating in the Dunn-Erwin Moose Lodge. After getting misplaced one night George was found sitting outside his residential home by an outbuilding safe and sound, the sheriff deputy ask George if he was OK. George said “Yes my father told me when I was 5 years old that If you ever get lost sit down and stay put and somebody will find you.” A Celebration of George’s Life Service will be held Monday, June 13, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Cromartie Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roy Johnson Officiating. He is survived by: Father & Step-Mother: Harry R. Nalveaiko & Loretta Nalveaiko of Erwin ,NC A Brother: Michael Nalveaiko & Ann of Scottsville, Va. A Step-Brother: Fred Devoe of Godwin, NC Many beloved family members and friends from Long Island The Family will receive friends Monday Evening, June 13, 2016 from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home in Dunn., one hour prior to the service.
