Georgette Elaine Marshall

Georgette Elaine Marshall passed away on October 24, 2023 at home surrounded by loved ones.

Georgette was born on August 12, 1962 in Maryland. She went on to become an ICU receptionist at the University of Maryland Medical System where she formed meaningful relationships with her colleagues and her boss. She also had several close friends, particularly Ariana who was a great support both inside and outside of work. Georgette was known for her strength and resilience. She dedicated her life to caring for her kids and grandkids. She found joy in crocheting, crosswords, diamond painting, and spending time with her family.

Georgette is survived by her husband Robert Ernest Marshall Jr: her daughter Jennifer Hager and spouse William; her son William Beavers and spouse Janie; her sisters Kim Orellana and Sherry Lane; her brother George King.

Georgette is preceded in death by her parents George and Diane King; her in-laws Robert and Gloria Marshall; her sister Karen King; and her son William Melvin Beavers

She was an AMAZING nanny to Makenzie, Lee, Sofia, Selena and Abree. Georgette had many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Georgette will be truly missed by all her family and friends.

Viewing for family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Raymond Funeral Service 5635 Washington Ave, La Plata, MD 20646.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 6, 2023 at Raymond Funeral Service 5635 Washington Ave, La Plata, MD 20646.

Following the services the family will be accepting friends and guests at 132 Kalmia Ct La Plata, MD 20646.
