Henrietta was born August 20, 1931 in Harnett County the daughter of the late Richard Butler and Viola Tripp Butler and is preceded in death by her first husband, William E. “Bill” Hardison and second husband, Ransom Lee White. She is also preceded in death a grandson, Jessie Hardison, brothers; Buren, Bruce, Shelton and John Butler; Sisters, Ethel Butler Gottfried and Edith Butler Tanner.
Henrietta enjoyed life, her family, neighbors, and her church, North Clinton Avenue Baptist Church. She was loved by all who knew her and was known for the sweet and kind way that she treated everyone she came in contact with. She loved doting on her grandchildren and great grandchildren at every opportunity. She also loved tending to her garden and flowers and caring for others in her community.
She is survived by: her sons: Larry E. Hardison & wife Elaine of Dunn, NC, Kenneth L. Hardison & wife Tiana of Myrtle Beach, SC, Brent Hardison of Myrtle Beach, SC; Step-Daughter: Brenda Messer of Benson, NC; Grandchildren: Derek Hardison, Brad Hardison, Scott Hardison & wife Alyson, Beth Hardison; Great Grandchildren: Nolan and Meredith Hardison.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home in Dunn. One hour prior to the funeral.
A Funeral Service will be held Sunday, December 22, 2019 at 3:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Grover Blackburn officiating. Burial will follow in Devotional Gardens.
