Mr. Jones was born October 17, 1942 in Cumberland Co. the son of the late Joe Cephus and Victoria Hobson Jones. He is preceded in death by a brother Jessie Martin and two sisters: Elsie McNeil and Mary Sue Tyler A Funeral Service will be held at 11 :00 AM, Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014 at Bluff Presbyterian Church in Wade, NC with Rev. Jerome Pope and Rev. Herb Young Officiating. He is survived by: His Wife: Linda Matthews Jones, of the home. 2 Daughters: Susan Jones Daleke & Shannon Lea Jones 2 Sisters: Dorothy Melvin and Husband Vance, and Bonnie Coats The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Cromartie-Miller Funerals and Cremations in Dunn, NC and at the residence at other times.
