OBITUARY Dunn, NC Mr. John L. Quick, age 93, of 1449 Hobson Rd., Dunn died Tuesday Evening, June 23, 2015, at his home. A native of Robeson County he was born Jan 1, 1922, the son of the late Albert Quick & Ethel McKenzie Quick and is preceded in death by a Brother, Haywood Quick and 2 Sisters, Annie Lou Townsend & Alene McKenzie. Mr. Quick was U.S. Army/Air Force veteran serving in World War II as a Medic and was retired from South River EMC. He is survived by: his wife: Florine McMillan Quick of the home 2 Sons: Bob Bennetts & (wife) Tammy of Sanford, NC Richard Quick of Lumberton, NC 3 Daughters: Linda Bennetts of Greensboro, NC Rosemary B. Karalius & (husband) Marty of Matthews, NC Jan Q. Pendleton of South Carolina Grandchildren: Lauren Wortman & (husband) Eli of Shelby, NC Holly Bennetts & (fiancé) T.J. Ashachik of Raleigh, NC Great Grandson: Calvin Wortman The family will receive friends at any time at the home, 1449 Hobson Rd. Dunn, NC There will be a private Memorial service at a later date.
