

He was born on November 2, 1927 in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina to the late Joseph Brantley Warren, Sr. and Minnie Eliza Godwin Warren.
The most important part of his life was his family and his church. Brantley was a man of faith known as a Christian Mentor. Rev. A.R. Teachy led Brantley, as he became a born again Christian devoting his life to Christ. He served the Lord at Bonnie Doone Baptist Church in Fayetteville, Second Baptist Church in Dunn, and currently Spring Branch Baptist Church, Dunn.
Brantley was a simple and humble man a true Samaritan with a heart of gold. He never met a stranger always there to lend a helping hand. Cutting grass and burning brush at his burn pile was his me time.
He was a true Patriot believing in the good ole’ USA serving his county in the United States Army Air Corps.
Brantley retired from Carolina Power and Light Company serving in Spring Lake and Dunn with over 37 years of service.
He was preceded in death by wife Jacqueline “Jackie” Warren.
Brantley leaves behind two daughters Carol “Susie” Razkowic, and husband Alex, of McLeansville, North Carolina and Amanda Carol Warren, of North Carolina; two sons Joseph Brantley “Little Joe” Warren, III and wife Judy, of Dunn, North Carolina and Charles Phillip Warren, and wife Tonya, of Dunn, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Forest Warren, Skyler Warren, Raine Warren, and Elisha Childers, and husband Kent; four great-grandchildren, J.C., Lauren, Lucy, and Jonas; and one great-great grandson Aris; and many friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel with the Rev. John McCray officiating.
