Sherrill M. Wrench

Dunn, NC Mr. Sherrill M. Wrench, age 82, of Alderman Mill Rd., Dunn died Monday Evening, October 31, 2016 at his home. Mr. Wrench was born in Sampson County on July 28, 1934 the son of the late Percy C. Wrench and Vada Jane Jackson Wrench and is preceded in death by his brother, Hubert Wrench and sister, Willa Jane Wrench. Mr. Wrench served 2 years in the U.S. Army, he retired from Burlington Industries in Erwin with over 25 years of service as a supervisor. He was a member of Roberts Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and playing Baseball. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Roberts Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church with Revs. Ricky Warren, Fred Baker & Randy Beasley officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. He is survived by: His wife of 59 years: Frankie Bass Wrench of the home. A Son: David Wrench & (wife) Janet of Dunn, NC.; Grandson: Zachary Wrench of Clinton, NC; A Sister: Clara Dean Honeycutt of Autryville, NC; Several Nieces & Nephews The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home in Dunn.
