Ms. Velma Gray Ivey, age 80, of Dunn died Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Cornerstone Nursing & Rehab in Dunn. Ms. Ivey was born in Harnett County on August 10, 1935 the daughter of the late Eldridge Herald & Volena Stewart Ivey and is preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Volena Radcliff, 2 sisters, Madeline Ivey & Annie Pauline Ivey and 2 brothers, Robert Eldridge Ivey. Sr. & Jessie Lenard Ivey. . She was retired from Charles Parrish Nursing Home where she was head cook in the food service dept. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Sansom Community Church with Rev. Johnny Peterson Officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
