William J. Nordan

Mr. William Joel Nordan, age 99, of Angier formerly of Erwin, died Sunday, January 10, 2016 at his home. William was born in Harnett County on May 6, 1916, the son of the late William Parker & Lillie Woolard Nordan and is preceded in death by his 1st wife, Genettie Eans Nordan & 2nd wife, Ruth P. Nordan. He is also preceded in death by sisters, Sallie Buckmon, Maud Jackson, Alda “Sister” Bufkin & Ruby L. Skinner and Brothers, Matthew “Bud” Nordan, Daniel Nordan, Moses Parker Nordan and David Nordan. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Pearce officiating. Burial will follow in Erwin Memorial Park. He is survived by: A Son: Richard Jarman of Sampson County, NC A Daughter: Janet McLeod & (husband) Mitchell of Dunn, NC Grandchildren: Johnathan Stanfield & (wife) Kitty of Angier, NC James McLeod & (wife) Nicki of Dunn, NC, Kristal Jarman, Tammy Jarman & Cathy Nordan Great Grandson: William Joel Stanfield Sister: Eloise Moffett of Fort Myers, Fl. Brothers: Fred Nordan of Fayetteville, NC and Preston Nordan of Godwin, NC The Family will receive friends Tuesday Evening, January 12, 2016 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home in Dunn.
