Think about Brian from time to time.  Didn't know he passed away ten years ago.  Knew Brian at Casey Middle School, 7th & 8th grades.  Assuming this is the same Brian...he was such a sweet guy, and so funny.  My condolences to his family.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Brian's passing. I am glad that he stopped at my home after Irene and Jerry's party and we had a lot of fun and shared a lot of memories. He then went on a Spiedie Run for his friends back home and was so happy to do so!

My heartfelt condolences over the loss of an outstanding teammate, friend, and person.  I was blessed and honored to know Flounder - RIP big man.

My most sincere condolences to the Rounds family. I got to know Brian quite well as I treated many of the complications he presented with as a result of his Diabetes.
At times treatment was painful and prolonged but Brian always had a smile on his face and was mostly willing to assist in his own care. 
He was a kind and gentle man and never had a bad word to say about anyone.
I am sure he will be missed by those who loved him.

I don't have the words to express the sadness in my heart at Brian's passing. It doesn't seem possible that someone so vibrant, so funny, so authentic could be gone.  I loved the way that he could tell a story, and the way that his eyes twinkled when he was laughing - you knew how much mischief he could get into (and had!) just by the look on his face when he told the tale.  We didn't see each other as much over the years living so far apart, but every single time we did it was like no time had gone by.  He talked to me just as though we'd see each other last only the weekend before - he could make anyone feel at home.  Reading the guestbook here I see so many people have shared their sorrow at losing Brian and their prayers for you, and I add mine to the list as well.  God bless all of you.  We loved him, and we love you too.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Brian, my condolences to the Rounds family during this time of sorrow.

To the Rounds family our deepest condolences on your loss. My son had the privaledge of playing football under Coach Rounds leadership. And to this day the lessons learned about life are still being used by him and I'm sure a lot of the other Kids that played for COACH ROUNDS.

My thoughts are with  Brians family at this time. My late husband Joe Montante Passed 8/19/14 and I worked with Brian at Super Duper and have ran into him over the years. Rounds family, I was shocked to hear of Brian's passing. He was an amazing man so full of life and love for others. He will be missed by so many.

Brian was like a big-brother to me and my sister.  He was always so caring and protective to us girls. He did so much for my family and was such a dear friend. We are heart-broken to lose such a special person. So many stories and memories will be kept close to our hearts - from killing spiders in Ithaca, to our daughter calling him "Fireman Brian" and my husband appreciating his unique sense of humor. So glad he was able to attend and party in Long Island for Joshua's Bar Mitzvah.  Brian will truly be missed.  Our deepest condolences to the Rounds Family.

There are not enough good words to describe how good a person Brian was. I knew him in at Williamsville east and when he was a fireman he became fast friends with my brother and dad. when my brother passed in 1998 he was there for our family and kept close with my nephews. He will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Rounds family.

Brian was my special buddy in high school. No one ever made me laugh 'til my stomach hurt like Brian did. What was it about him? I still can't say, but I just felt happier when he was around. He supported me in all my sports and artistic ventures, and always looked out for me. He was my homecoming date...and almost my prom date until he told me was going to wear a pink tuxedo!! Hahaha. 

I have always kept a special place in my heart for him. Even though we lost touch shortly after high school, I thought of him now and then, and just smiled.

Bless you all and may God bless Brian. I will not be able to attend the service, but I will always remember him with great fondness.

Brian was there for his friends, kind, generous and always had a story to tell. We enjoyed his company from friendly BBQ's to Sunday football games. You are missed and will always be remembered.

To the Rounds family, I am sincerely sorry for your loss. Brian was a good friend in high school. I became friends with Dave Serure who was close friend of Brian's along with Dave B. and Joe and that is how I met Brian. So many good memories of fun we had in high school. Sherkston Beach, hanging with the crew at the Transit Drive-In, Slombas and BBC, going on a group date for homecoming to a "fancy" restaurant in Clarence. Brian always called me by my last name as I know he did with others, it was always "Fox", not my first name, when I walked in to the 20 year high school reunion I heard a voice above the crowd calling "Fox". I knew right away it was him. My dad was fond of Brian and enjoyed when he was at my house and we were goofing around, shooting hoops, etc. A few years ago my dad was in the parking lot at the Eastern Hills Mall and he heard someone call out "Mr. Fox", he had probably not seen my dad in 20 years. They talked and Brian insisted on taking my dad over to the Main Transit Firehouse where Brian was a volunteer firefighter. They went and Brian proudly gave him a tour and introduced him to everyone. He had a big heart. He was a good guy. RIP Brian.

Our condolences to the Rounds family. Brian was a big hearted person who became a member of our extended family. I have so many fun filled memories of Brian that I could write a book. He took great pride in his friends and family. Brian would visit us down in the Carolina's and spoil my kids rotten. He was always there in times of need. Brian was the first person to lend support during my fathers illness. Calling and checking in with my mother to see if there was anything he could do to help. The one word that best describes Brian is GENUINE. He would give you his opinion whether you wanted to hear it or not. It was always black and white with no gray. He will be sadly missed. Rest in peace my friend!

Brian has been a well loved friend of mine since elementary school. I have so many wonderful memories of times together with our neighborhood crew and school friends. His big heart was a gift to so many! Rest in peace my forever friend.

To the Rounds Family,

I have known Brian for over 40 years (since the fourth grade), and he has always been one of my closet friends. He was part of the original four in the neighborhood (Brian R., Dave S., Dave B., & Joe M).  We did everything together including playing football for WEHS, & going on road trips to visit friends in college. The group of close friends expanded over time to include Chris K., Bob A., Chuck T, and my brothers (John, Kevin, and Michael).

Brian would be there during your time of need, and be there when you wanted him to go home for the night (ha ha). He would help move furniture in your new home, and give you his last dollar for candy at the movie theaters.  When I met my wife Wendy, Brian's family expanded to the Heim family, and he participated in family activities including being Santa for my two sons Shane and Austin on Christmas Eve.

I am hurting inside, with a huge hole that was filled by Brain. I never realized how much until this past week going to see him at the hospital and remembering all the things we did together for last 40 years. I was glad to talk with his family (Bridget, George, Chris, Chuck, etc.) it was like therapy in preparing for the day he leaves us for that better place.   Our thoughts and prayers are with the Rounds Family for this heartbreaking loss.
