Gordon Paul Gold (93), was called to heaven by the love of his life, Shirley Gold, on January 20th, 2026. Gordon served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War and the two were married shortly after. This year would have been their 71st wedding anniversary. Gordon and Shirley had two beautiful daughters, Judene Latona and Susan Molenda (late). He was the doting and cherished Pops to Kristen, Ashley (Rafal), and Melissa (Benjamin), and the ever spoiling Papa to Braeden, Quinn, Gianna, Brooks, Avery, and Lincoln. Gordon lived a long, full life of adventures in his Cessna, building anything his girls could dream of, and spoiling all of his grandchildren every day. There wasn't anything that he couldn’t fix nor anything he wouldn’t do for his family. He was welcomed home into the loving arms of Shirley, Susan, and all the angels. A visitation will be held on Sunday January 25, 2026 from 2-6pm at DENGLER, ROBERTS, PERNA FUNERAL HOME, 8630 Transit Rd. East Amherst, NY 14051. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday January 27, 2026 at 10:30am at St. Mary's Church, 6919 Transit Rd. Swormville, NY 14051. Please assemble at church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Give Kids the World.
