Gordon C. Steinhilber, of Cheektowaga, entered into rest on May 29, 2022 at age 93. Beloved husband of the late Ruth (nee Haitgema) Steinhilber; devoted father of David (Deborah) Steinhilber, Kathy Szymanski, Jeanne (James) Bryk and the late Robert Steinhilber; cherished grandfather of Heather (John) Madigan, Andrew (Tomomi) Steinhilber, Kim (Brian) Dei Dolori, Peter Bryk and Timothy Bryk; adored great-grandfather of Conor, Lily, Ryan and Willy; loving son of the late Charles and Edna Steinhilber; dearest stepson of the late Mae Steinhilber; dear brother of Barbara (Robert) Tiffany; also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at St. John's Lutheran Church, 6540 Main St., Williamsville, on Tuesday (June 21, 2022) at 1pm. Gordon was a veteran of the US Army.
