Stella Shimone

Stella (Mingoia) Shimone of East Boston on January 30, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Frank Shimone. Loving mother of Maria Swirbalus and her late husband Paul of Hanover, Marilyn Vaccaro and her husband Joseph of Braintree and Marcia Shimone of East Boston. Cherished grandmother of Lauren, Katelyn, Alexandra, Kayla and Kelsey. Dear sister to Josephine Raino of Cambridge, the late Louis Mingoia, Grace Rampino and Salvatore Mingoia. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors on Monday from 8:30am-10:30am in the Kirby-Rapino Memorial Home, 917 Bennington St. (Orient Heights) EAST BOSTON followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, corner of Brooks and Paris St., East Boston at 11am. Services will conclude with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Donations in Stella’s memory may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
