Carlos Luis Colon of Enfield, passed away unexpectedly on May 25, 2015. Carlos was born on December 14, 1978, in Caguas, Puerto Rico, a son of Reynaldo Colon and Ana (Carrasquilo). Carlos was a loving husband and father who cared deeply for his family. He will be remembered as a kind & gentle soul who would help anyone in need. He had an uncanny ability to make everyone smile. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Carlos will be deeply missed by his wife Sarah Colon of Enfield, his daughter Mari Carmen Colon of Hartford, sons Carlos Richard Colon and Haiden Luis Colon of Enfield, daughter Ava Lyn Colon of Newington, brothers Angel, Reynaldo Jr., Roberto, Basilio, Armando and sister Carmen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10am on June 3, 2015 at St. Mary Church, 15 Maplewood Ave., East Hartford. Calling hours will follow immediately from 11:30am-2:30pm at Newkirk and Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Avenue., East Hartford, CT 06108. Burial is private and at the convenience of the family.
