Carole Anne Spinney Bezzini

Carole A. Bezzini, 66, of East Hartford, beloved wife of the late Richard Peter Bezzini II, who told her “hang in there, I’m coming for you”, was reunited with him on November 3, 2016. She was born in Acton, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late Ralph E. and Mary Frances (Ward) Spinney and was a graduate of East Hartford High School. Carol was a communicant of St. Rose Church. Carol was an Executive Secretary for many years with Travelers Insurance Company. She was an ardent UConn Huskies fan and an avid Red Sox and Celtics fan. She was a kind hearted person and lover of animals, especially her German Shepard’s, Casey and Echo, and don’t forget Napoleon. She is survived by her loving sister Kathleen M. Holmstrom of East Hartford, several cousins and her sister in law Carol Vertefeuille and her husband Roger of Wethersfield. Visiting hours are Tuesday morning from 8:30AM-9:30AM at the Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Avenue, followed by the Liturgy of Christian Burial, 10AM at St. Rose Catholic Church, 33 Church St. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Burnside Avenue, all in East Hartford.
