Charlotte M. Rainville

Charlotte May (Fisher) Rainville, 80, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Riverside Healthcare. She was born and raised in Hartford residing in Coventry before moving to East Hartford where she resided for over 44 years. She was a caring and devoted woman who cherished time spent with family. She was a talented seamstress who was employed by Hebrew Home and Hospital for many years, often dressing in costume for the residents on Holidays. She was an avid Red Sox, Patriot and UCONN fan. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She leaves her children, Gail D. Rainville, Rita Doucette, Frank Rainville, Rene Rainville and wife Patty, Sandra St. John and husband Louis, Michael Rainville and Patty Marzano; her sister Catherine Benoit, her brother James Fisher; her brother in-law Raymond Rainville and wife Pat Rainville; her sister in-law Sophia Rainville; many dear grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours will be held on Friday, March 8th from 5 to 8PM at Newkirk and Whitney Funeral Home 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford. A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 9th at 11AM at the funeral home. Friends and family are welcome to gather at 10AM. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
