Hi Steimetz family. I haven’t seen you all in over 50 years. But I remember as a child growing up next to your family. Remember....The Allison family? We moved to Florida and have been in this hellacious heat ever since. Rocco Scavetta called me and told me of Cheryl’s passing. I am so so sorry to hear about that. Especially the fact that she was about to become a grandmother. That is my dream now to become a grandmother. So I can’t even imagine your loss! I just wanted to send my sincerest condolences to your family. Please stay safe through this horrible pandemic! RIP Cheryl!

I am so sorry to hear of Cheryl's passing. She was a student of mine at MCC. Cheryl was a delight in my class, and I know that she was so proud and excited to be pursuing her education. I will miss her.

Sending prayers to the entire Steinmetz family. I have tons of great memories growing up across the street from you all and your family always treated me like one of the gang. Cheryl was always so nice to me and treated me like another little sister. So sorry for your loss, especially at this time when grieving together is made even harder.

I just heard of Cheryl’s death. I am so sorry for your loss. I lived right across the street on Appletree Dr and used to babysit. She was my helper! I also remember seeing Cheryl when she came in to have her babies! I agree with what everyone has said about her. She was very kind and concerned for others. She will be the very special guardian angel watching over her new grandchild from heaven.

To the Steinmetz Family, please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of Cheryl. I would often see Cheryl at MCC and she would always come up to me and say Hi. Cheryl was always friendly and we would talk about the old days growing up. Cheryl always lit up when she would talk about her kids. Cheryl was working very hard at MCC to get her degree. Cheryl often told me she would talk with her father about her school work, and her father would always be positive telling her, " Cheryl you can do this." Cheryl will be missed.
