Christine A. Malon

Our cherished mother, Christine Malon, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2012 in Glastonbury. Christine, born on August 21, 1916, was the daughter of the late Kazimierz and Anastasia Wujcik and the widow of the late Walter W. Malon of Waturbury. Chrisitine was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Walter, her brother Charles, sister Felicia, her nephew Victor whom she raised and her youngest daughter, Cynthia MacFarland of Oveido, FL. Christine leaves three children to grieve her passing: Marcia Wrang of South Glastonbury, Walter and Elizabeth Malon of Naugatuck and Donna and David Vanasse of Mystic. She leaves 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren who had the blessing of knowing their great grandmother.

Funeral arrangements are being prepared by Glastonbury Funeral Home. Services and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Christine’s children wish to send their deepest thanks to the very kind and loving caretakers at the Glastonbury Health Care Facility.
