David A. Doyer

David A. Doyer, 70 of Glastonbury and loving husband to Connie A. Doyer, passed away on Dec. 1, 2010. David was born April 7, 1940 in Hartford son of the late Marshall L. & Jennie (Stevens) Doyer. Before moving to Glastonbury David had lived in East Hartford for many years.

He was a member of the Pilgrim Christian Fellowship in Glastonbury. David was a talented Jack of all Trades, electrical, plumbing and especially his passion for carpentry. He also donated time with friends at senior centers in the area.

He is survived his loving wife Constance A. (Heringer) Doyer: a brother Ralph Doyer of Manchester: two sisters Marion St. Martin of Vero Beach, FL and Jeanette Garboski of Cromwell. Along with both parents he was predeceased by a brother Marshall Doyer Jr. and two sisters Dorothy Gilman and Margaret Guerra.

A celebration of David’s Life will be held on Tuesday (Dec. 7th) at 11 a.m. with Pastor Peter Johnson officiating, in the Glastonbury Funeral Home, 450 New London Tpke., Glastonbury, followed by burial in Green Cemetery, Glastonbury. There are no calling hours.
