

Dolores Kocor, 85, of East Hartford, beloved wife of the late Raymond Kocor since 1954, passed away on February 6, 2016 at her home after a brief illness of Cancer, with her family by her side. Dolores was born on February 18, 1930, in Plymouth, Mass a daughter of the late Manuel and Elvira Teixeira, previously residing in Fall River, MA before settling in East Hartford. She attended Durfee High School. Mrs. Kocor was employed by Mass Mutual Retiring in 1996. She was a parishioner of St. Isaac Jogues Church in East Hartford.
Dolores enjoyed gardening and spent most of her time enjoying the chipmunks in the yard. She will be remembered for her loving and caring heart.
She will be dearly missed by her two sons: Steven Kocor and his former wife Natalie of Coventry, Raymond Kocor of Kissimmee, FL, her three daughters: Sandra Wilson and her husband Cowan of Huntsville, AL, Kim Cooks and her husband Scott of Columbia, SC., Penny Barry and her husband Bryan of Mt. Holly, NC, three brothers: Roger Teixeira and his wife Judy of RI., Henry Teixeira and his wife Marge of MA., Joe Teixeira and his wife Martha of FL, sister Evelyn Ferreira and her husband Raymond of MA., 7 grandchildren: Jeremy, Shawn, Jason, Kristy, Steven, Justin, Jaclyn, 8 great grandchildren: Naseem, Audrey, Mya, Ian, Collin, Adyn, Stevie, Olivia, dear friends: Marie Kloc, Irene Arabek, Nick and Rosemarie Carucci, Annette Matteau. She is predeceased by her brother George Teixeira and his wife Irene.
