Donald G. Lynch, 89, of East Hartford, died Wednesday Sept. 5, 2012. Donald was born in New York, a son of the late James J. and Marie C (Ryder) Lynch. Donald was a World War II United States Marine Corps veteran and proudly served his country from 1943-1946. Don was a plumber by trade. He enjoyed all sports, especially baseball and bowling. He is survived by his brother Kenneth Lynch and his wife Kaye of Vero Beach, Florida. Graveside services will be Friday Sept. 7th at 11AM, in Silver Lane Cemetery Veterans Field in East Hartford. There are no calling hours. Benjamin J. Callahan Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Avenue, East Hartford is in charge of the arrangements.
