Dora Golembieski

Dora A. Golembieski, 88, of Marlborough, passed away on October 22, 2012. Formerly of East Hartford, Dora was born in Massachusetts on January 13, 1924. She was the beloved wife of Chester Golembieski.

Dora is survived by her children; Theresa Gallo and her husband Rick of Marlborough, Karen Wolfe of Somers, Howard Tupper and his wife Bobbie of Mississipi, and Edward Tupper and his wife Pamella of Wolcott. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory 14 grandchildren; Wendy Mitchell and her husband David, Shelly Mondo and her husband Vincent, Todd Tupper, Steven Tupper, Leslie Skinner and her husband Howard, Michael Arbo, Rob Arbo, Kristi Corporan and her husband Dave, William Wolfe and his wife Tammy, Wayne Wolfe and his wife Mary, Aaron Tupper and his wife Sue, Debbie Cheney, Donald Cheney, and Jason Tupper and his wife Jennifer. Dora was also a Great Grandmother of 25 children and a Great Great Grandmother of 3.

In addition to her husband Chester and her parents, Dora is predeceased by her son Dennis Tupper and daughter Dorothy Cheney.

Dora was a very strong and loving person. She suffered over the last few years of her life because she was not able to live life the way she wanted. While her family is comforted that she is now at peace, she will be terribly missed by all the hearts she touched.

Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation on Thursday, October 25th from 9-11am, followed by a Funeral Service at 11am at Benjamin J. Callahan Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Avenue, East Hartford. Services to conclude with burial in Hillside Cemetery, East Hartford.
