Edrie Jean (Tytor) Buck, 74, widow of Harold Buck, of Bloomfield, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 10, 2016. She was born in Hartford and was daughter to the late Edward Tytor and Janina (Lakowski) Tytor Berry. Edrie was a 48 year employee of the Travelers before retiring in 2013.
Edrie was a longtime sports and hockey fan, she so enjoyed watching and rooting for the Hartford Wolf Pack and Whalers, as well as, her UCONN Huskies.
She is survived and will be dearly missed by her daughter Jean Marie Buck of Windsor, her siblings: Mary Hesser and husband Ken Demchak of Clinton, CT Patricia Hahn, of IA and brother Edward Tytor and wife Peggy of Lebanon, CT, her longtime friends, Carter Sutherland and Susan Papapietro, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Visitation hours are Friday, Nov.18,2016 from 5-8pm from the Callahan Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave, East Hartford. Please meet at church, Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016 at 9:30am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 673 Ellington Road, South Windsor. Burial services will remain private.
