Edward is survived by his long life partner of 33 years, Karen Madore, his sister Eleanor Smith, his brothers Thomas Koloski, James Koloski, and Henry Koloski and his wife Donna. Edward also is survived by his children Edward Koloski Jr. and Cathleen Melendez, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 5 nieces and nephews.
Edward will be dearly missed by his faithful furry friend Jake, his dog.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at 10AM, in St. Rose Church, 33 Church Street, East Hartford. Friends and family are asked to meet at the church. Burial will follow in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours will be on Monday, February 20, 2012, from 5 to 8 PM, at the Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Avenue, East Hartford, CT 06108.
