It is with great love and sadness that we announce the passing of Elaine Boynton Outtrim who died peacefully on May 3, 2017. She was born in New Haven at St. Raphael's Hospital on June 15,1924. She raised her family in West Hartford, Ct. where she spent the last 72 years of her life. Nothing brought her more joy than to spend time with her family and her many, wonderful friends. Elaine is survived by her children Carol O. Rieber (Tom), Robert W. Outtrim, Jr.(Mary), Richard E. Outtrim, and her sister Barbara O'Reilly (Myles). She is the grandmother of Cary, Chase, Tyler (Kelleigh), Jennifer (Matt), Laura ( Steve), Robert (Heidi ) and Eliza and she is the great-grandmother to Taegon, Lily, Madison, Drew, Jackson and Catherine. She is the Aunt of Karen, Susan, Michael and Deborah and she was predeceased by her husband Robert and her nephew David (Elissa).
