She was born on November 5, 1938, in Manchester, CT, a daughter of the late James and Olga Nichols.
Gail worked at Sweet Life Food where she met the love of her life, Bob. They were married for over 40 years. Gail kept fond memories of their time spent boating and as members of the Hartford Yacht Club close to her heart. Gail opened her own business, Abigail Originals and successfully met the embroidering and screen printing needs of the area businesses for many years.
Gail was an avid admirer of the Arts. She painted, both oil and watercolor and enjoyed spending time listening to Jazz music by taking in local shows with friends. She truly enjoyed spending time with family and friends. There weren't too many Wednesday that went by without finding her and her sister-in-law Rebecca enjoying some chips and a margarita together, served by the best OTB bartender staff, Krissy and Sam.
Gail is survived by three cousins, Donald, William and Richard Davidson, a step daughter, Susan M. King and two step sons, Robert F. Grant Jr. and James A. Grant. She also leaves three grandchildren; Christopher King, Melissa Tinch and (TJ) Thomas James Grant, two great grandchildren; Joshua and Nathanael Tinch. Gail also leaves many nieces and nephews that she was very fond of.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gail's memory can be made to Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter
