I am just now finding out about the passing of your dear father and husband. My prayers and thoughts are with you.  I am so very sorry for your loss. I remember the days when you were all on Vine St----the old East Hartford gang----good times and good memories of all of you!!!! f After viewing all of his photos, I can see that he had a good life  and  that he enjoyed his retirement after all those years of hard work --he was surrounded my friends, and a loving family....and that is what really matters.  We recently lost my father in law and I know what you are going through.  Even though he and your dad/husband had a good, productive life,  it is  still hard to let go and imagine life without him...Remember the   wonderful memories to help  you through this most difficult time. I am very sorry for your loss of Uncle George. Some of my best memories were at your house in Rhode Island with all the family. Uncle George and my papa always would give us a good laugh! Uncle George showed me and Gina how to dry the starfish we caught, drive us on his 3 wheeled bicycle, and pick the honey suckle. I will miss my neighbor George...his wave and smile each day.  Enjoyed watching George and Tina always outside together..whether working in the yard or just enjoying the day.    He was such a sweet man who adored his wife and his family.  May you all keep the happy memories close to your heart.

Dear Auntie Tina and Family, 
Our deepest condolences for all of you. I am so sad to say goodbye to such a wonderful man who brought such joy and laughter to mine. As I looked through your slideshow, I laughed and cried. I looked at the photos of the East Hartford house and remembered so many fun times there. Tina, I love you an George so much and I'm so proud to say you're my Godparents!! I remember George showing me how to pick  the honey suckles off the vine and tasting the sweet nectar. Picking the rhubarb from the neighbors yard and getting chased away. Watching George taunt Mon Ami by pinching him just above his crooked tail (he did get a bite on George-every now and then). Watching Kevin and other Crazy people jump off the Garage and into that beautiful pool. I thank you and George for providing me with so many wonderful memories!!! I love you, Sharon

You are all in my thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time. I have to share that I smile whenever I think of the fun visits I've had in recent years with my sweet friend Sue, George and Tina and our group of friends. I love how George and Tina joined right in with the fun and seemed to enjoy being with us as much as we enjoyed being with them. George always made me laugh when he recalled past memories with Tina correcting him along the way. George lives on through his daughters as I know Sue is like her dad with a generous heart, great storytelling ability and a love of life.
