

Guy “Geeto” Belliveau, 57, of East Hartford, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Hartford Hospital. He was the husband of Deborah (Finan) Belliveau. He was born in Shediac, New Brunswick, Canada, on March 19, 1953, son of the late Albert and Lorraine (Goguen) Belliveau.
Geeto loved building and working on his and others Hot rods along with his passion for Harley Davidson’s. He was a member of the Dagger Club and a Supporter of the 81. He was a master upholsterer, working many years in the industry and owning Guy’s Auto Upholstery.
Besides his wife Deborah, of 33 years, Geeto leaves his sister Hugette Belliveau Richard and her husband Mike, and their children Mario and David Richard and Daniel Richard: a son Rene: his mother in law Helen Finan: his brother in laws, Bobby Finan and his wife Betsy, his children Finny and Abby Finan: Wayne Finan and his wife Karen, and their children Connie, John and Michael: Mark Finan and his wife Mona, and their children Michelle, Mark Jr., Mathew Finan and numerous great nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his beloved sons, Christopher and Joshua Belliveau.
Family and friends are invited at 11 a.m. on Friday (Dec. 10th) to the Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford, followed by a 12 Noon Funeral Service. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, East Hartford. Calling hours will be Thursday, (Dec. 9th) from 4 to 8pm at the funeral home.
