Katherine Ciochini

Katherine Ciochini, 87, a resident of South Glastonbury since 1947, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, November 16th, 2011. She was born Creston, Nebraska on July 7, 1924, daughter of the late Martin and Marie (Meul) Graff. Katherine was the beloved wife of the late Adolph B. Ciochini.

Katherine’s greatest joy was spending time wither her family, she was a devoted wife and mother. she will be remembered most for her willingness to always do for others before herself. She and Adolph were parishioners of St. Augustine’s Church in S. Glastonbury for many years.

She is survived by her two children and their families: her son Donald Ciochini and his wife Claire of E. Hampton, her daughter Kathleen Slattery and her husband Austin, of Sunbury OH, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her dear friend Elenor Kapsia.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Katherine is predeceased by eleven brothers and sisters.

Katherine will be missed by her loving family and friends.

Funeral Services are private and will be at the convenience of the family.
