Kevin Harry Gebhard Sr.

Born on September 15,1953 in Hartford, CT, Kevin was the son of Harry Arthur Gebhard born in Brooklyn, NY and Lorraine Turner Gebhard born in Willimantic, CT. He grew up in East Hartford and attended Penny High School.

Kevin worked as a sheet metal worker for most of his life. Kevin was best known for the deep love he held for his family especially his three children and three grandchildren. Some of his favorite things were spending time with his family, vacationing on Cape Cod, bowling and his love for sports especially Football-Kansas City Chiefs and Baseball- Detroit Tigers.

Kevin is survived by his children, his daughter Kelly Gassett of South Windsor, his son Kevin H. Gebhard Jr and his wife Kristen of South Windsor and his son Randy Gebhard of Thomaston. His grandchildren Kevin H. Gebhard III, Kaylee Joan Gebhard and Dustin Gassett. His brothers Donald, David and Stephen Faucher. He was preceded in death by his father Harry Arthur Gebhard, mother Lorraine Turner Gebhard and his brothers William Oren and Robert Faucher.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2026 from 4:00-6:00pm at Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Avenue in East Hartford.
