Linda Carole Breslin, 60, of East Hartford, passed away peacefully in her home with her family by her side, on Sunday, March 25th, 2018. Linda was born on July 11, 1957, at Hartford Hospital to Michael and Mabel (Tatro) McCourt.
Linda will be dearly missed by her family; Daughter Kelly Breslin, son Sean Breslin and his wife Cassondra along with their two children Andrew and Kayleigh. In addition, she will also be missed by her former husband John Breslin and his partner Gay. Her sister in law Sylvia Orzech and her husband Robert and their two children Stacy Lombardo and Jessica Orzech, along with Linda’s brother Bill McCourt and his wife Judy and her niece Kathleen (McCourt) Deane are all also grieving over this loss. Linda is pre-deceased by her brothers Richard and Stephen McCourt.
Linda worked 11 years at Prudential with co-workers whom she often considered her second family. In her spare time she mastered the game of Solitaire and loved to play slots at Foxwoods casino.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda’s memory can be made towards the education fund for her grandchildren, made payable to Kelly or Sean Breslin.
Friends and family are invited to attend a period of visitation on Thursday, March 29th, 2018 4-6:30pm, with a time of sharing memories at 6:30pm, all to take place at the Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford, CT 06108.
