Michael Carl Mulligan

Michael Carl Mulligan of Enfield/Somers, at the age of 42 passed away April 8th, 2022, unexpectedly. He was the husband of Michelle Eastman Mulligan. Born May 17th, 1979, in Middletown CT. Following in his father's footsteps he loved fixing cars, he was a successful mechanic and the proud owner of Mulligan Maintenance LLC. He enjoyed riding his Harley with his wife and friends, fixing cars, and spending time with all his family. He is survived by his wife Michelle Mulligan. Stepchildren Angelina, Breonna and Cayson, stepfather Al Kibbe, brother Joseph Kowalski, his aunt Colleen Costa of East Granby who was a second mom to him, and Zach Boehm of Suffield who is like a brother and many aunts uncles and cousins from the Costa’s, Risley’s, Laraia’s and Mulligan’s. He was predeceased by his father Carl Frank Mulligan of East Hartford and his mother Chris Costa Kibbe of Somers CT grandparents George and Mildred Mulligan of East Hartford and Geraldine Costa of East Hartford and Bill Costa of Ellington. Calling Hours for Michael will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave, East Hartford, Connecticut 06108. Following the calling hours will be a Committal Service at 12:15 PM at Hillside Cemetery, 162 Hillside St, East Hartford, CT 06108.
