Rosemary Mauriello

Rosemary Mauriello, age 61, of Manchester, Connecticut passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024 with her family by her side, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Rose was born January 24, 1963, in Hartford CT. She was the daughter of the late Lola Lunatici and the late Gino Troy. She grew up in East Hartford CT, and eventually obtained degrees in Business that specialized in banking. She leaves her husband Giuseppe Mauriello of Manchester, son Dante Graziano, and daughters Isabella and Luciana Lola, brother Robert Troy of Tampa FL, brother Gino Troy, Jr. of Austin TX, the late Anthony Troy, brother John Troy of Manchester CT, and numerous nieces and nephews in the U.S. and Italy. She also had cousins, and their children, in Italy from Lola and Gino. After meeting on a cruise ship, Rosemary and Giuseppe fell in love and lived in Vero Beach FL, and started a Restaurant "Dante's" and later settled in Manchester. She had numerous great friends, too many to mention, starting from a young age until her last days. Rose lived a full life of love, and had the gift of connecting with anyone, with respect and compassion.

We will always remember her positive attitude, her courage, her laugh, and that smile.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 27th, 4-7 p.m. at Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave, East Hartford, CT 06108. A prayer service will be held on Friday September 27th at 6PM at Newkirk and Whitney 318 Burnside Ave East Hartford
