Shawn Shawny Pipes Q. Charles

Shawn Q. Charles, 18, of Rocky Hill, entered the Lord's embrace on July 23, 2012. He was born in Hartford the son of Anthony and Dawn (Wallace) Charles and was a graduate of the Rocky Hill High School Class of 2012.

Shawn loved his family and friends and they loved him. He loved to "chill" with his friends and was not one to sit around, he preferred to be busy. He loved his car, music and enjoyed skateboarding and playing video games. He was always happy and joking, smiling and loving life.

In addition to his parents Anthony Charles of Windsor and Dawn Charles of Rocky Hill, he is survived by two aunts, Valerie Charles of Windsor and Sherma Charles of Hartford, two cousins Jamie Charles of East Hartford and Dion Charles of Hartford. He is also survived by numerous friends, among them his best friend Chris Conte of Rocky Hill. He will sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Visiting hours will be 4-8PM on August 8th at the Wethersfield Evangelical Free Church, 511 Maple Street, Wethersfield, CT. His funeral service will be Thursday August 9th at 11AM at Wetherfield Evangelical Free Church. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park in Rocky Hill.
