Walter Fabrycki

Walter “Cutty” Fabrycki Sr., 60, of East Hartford, beloved companion of Sandra Quinn passed away on February 25, 2012 at home. He was born March 8, 1951 in Brownsville PA to the late Frank and Sophie (Dudkiewicz) Fabrycki.

He graduated Briar Hill High School. Cutty moved to Hartford in 1969 where he resided many years then to East Hartford where he spent his remaining years. He was employed by Stanadyne for 42 years. He was an active outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a loving father and was devoted to his family. He enjoyed his vegetable garden and spent most of his time outdoors. He will be most remembered for his laughter and his generosity towards family and friends. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed watching Sports Center.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Delores Fabrycki; his sons Walter “Cutty” Fabrycki Jr. and Corey C. Fabrycki and his wife Mary; his daughter Dawn R. Uccello; his brothers Theodore Fabrycki and his wife Shirley, Richard Fabrycki and his wife Mary; his sisters Loretta McMan and Sylvia Burnsworth and her husband Sterling; his grandchildren, Camille, Micaela, Corrine and Adrianna; his extended family Dawn Toombs and her husband Wally and their children: Bobbie and her husband Felix, Chantel and Corey and five great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers Frank, John and Stanley; his sisters Viola and Antoinette.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2012, from 11AM to 1PM, at Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford, CT 06108. Burial is private.
