Passed away November 9, 2014 at the age of 71. Born December 10, 1942 in Denmark to Axel and Julianne (Bork) Bojesen, he moved to the US in 1959 where he graduated from Pontiac Central High School, Oakland University and Wayne State University School of Medicine. He interned at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI, and thereafter served in the United States Air Force and completed his residency at the University of Texas, Parkland Hospital, Dallas, TX. He worked as an OB-GYN at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester, MI from 1976 to 1994. From 1995 to 2001 he worked at the Olin Health Center at Michigan State University. His favorite hobby was antiquing. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, colleague and friend.
He is preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Nancy; children David Bojesen, Keith Bojesen, Heather Mardon and her two children of Portland, OR; and brother, Bert Bojesen.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2014, 6 pm-8 pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 East Grand River Avenue, East Lansing.
