Bruce Gregg Davis

Born on September 19, 1951 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Fred and Mary (Gregg) Davis, died April 15, 2011 of Metastatic Melanoma at the age of 59.

Bruce was a graduate of MSU College of Law and was a senior attorney at ITC of Novi, MI. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family, playing tennis, walking his dog Leo and reading. Bruce had a great sense of humor, and will be remembered as a compassionate person who treated others with respect.

He was preceded in death by his parents and he is survived by his wife Cindy (Swiacki); children Allison, Melissa and Drew; his sister, Barbara Davis; Dr and Mrs. Gerald Swiacki, Dr. Jerry (Linda) Swiacki, Ken and Sheila (Swiacki) Smith, Neil Swiacki and Susan Davitt, Ed and Melissa (Swiacki) Ewald; many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 18 at 12 noon with visitation 1 hour prior at St. Martha Parish, 1100 West Grand River, and Okemos, MI with Fr. Jonathan Wehrle officiating. The family will receive friends at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, East Lansing Sunday, April 17, 5 – 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.
