Charles Andrew Meluch

Charles Andrew Meluch of Okemos, was born February 3, 1980 in Madison, WI. He passed away on March 9, 2016 at the age of 36. His family, his cat Norman and his many friends, meant everything to him. He was a loyal, generous, funny, loving, helpful, hardworking young man with a heart of gold. He didn't accept praise well and would probably be quite astonished at the outpouring of love from his friends on social media. He loved riding his bicycle, particularly if he could get dirty in the process. A passionate MSU and Red Wings fan, he was also a terrific cook who especially enjoyed creating his own recipes. Charles is survived by his father George Meluch (Heather), his mother Carolyn Tobin (Edward), his brother Thomas Meluch (Brittany), his half-sisters Ava and Anna Meluch, his step-sister Jamie Fitzpatrick (William) and step-brother Mark Tobin (Emily). Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 26 at 3:00 pm at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 East Grand River Avenue, East Lansing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Thank you to everyone who has reached out to comfort us. We are especially moved by the number of media postings from his friends and the perfectly wonderful thoughts and memories they have shared. Charles had a real soft spot for animals.
